Data was collected using in-depth, informant interviews with management directors and their staff in seven counties within one slate located in the South. Using the diffusion of theory and modified grounded theory analysis, the data was analyzed and two main factors emerged as influences on the adoption of social media: (1) inclination for -taking and associated attitude and (2) education and on social media applications andprotocol.
