The Field Reporting Tool is a platform to collect and promptly share multimedia georeferenced information.

Born out a collaboration agreement between the JRC and the Italian Fire Brigade, FRT allows first responders collecting data from the field attaching images, sounds, videos or documents, that can be shared promptly with the other users.

A mobile app map based benefits from the GPS information to track all the activities of the user.

Additionally, the user can ask for immediate help just pressing a panic button and a team chat is built in the app.

Supported Use Cases

Collect reports from the field

First responders are sent to the field with modile phones equiped with the FRT app. They and can send short geolocated reports, made of picture, sound and text. These reports are sent to the room where they can be visualized on a map.
