The Antwerp Fire Department (Brandweer Zone Antwerpen) is one of the 35 Belgian and one of the five Antwerp rescue zones . The zone officially started on January 1, 2015 and provides fire brigade care for the city of Antwerp, the municipality of Zwijndrecht and the municipality of Wijnegem

Today, the service is managed by AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH., for the benefit of the European Management.
