Guidance (TGM) is the online that aims to help users in implementing the Management Trials, following the DRIVER+ Guidance Methodology.

How does TGM Work?

TGM implements a simple workflow for collaboratively defining and documenting the Trials. For a start one user has to define new Trial Group by following this link, add other Team Members to it and assign them the roles (Owner, Team, or no role). .

All registered site users can join the Trial Group on their own by clicking on the "Join group" link at the left sidebar, but only the owner can promote them into "Team" or "Owner" role.

  • Trial Group members with the "Owner" role have full control over the Trial Group. They can manage Trial Group members and they can even delete the whole Trial.
  • Trial Group members with "Team" role can co-edit all Trial content.
  • Trial Group members without a "Team" role are allowed to see all Trial content, but not to edit it.

New Trial Groups immediately receive a dedicated page on this site. This page is is publicly accessible through the personal pages of the Trial Group members and shows part of the Trial information. When accessed by the Trial Group members, this page also provides links for adding and editing the Trial information.

At a later stage, the Trial Team can (should) request the "publication" of their trial. This request will be forwarded to the site editors for quality control and either granted or rejected with request for improvements. "Published" trials are visible on the trials overview page and available for search.
