This determines how we think and act: we develop concepts for intelligent technical systems that are adaptable, robust, user-friendly and able to anticipate. This requires new approaches, methods and technologies, which we supply. We are aiming to position ourselves against the competition as a leading interdisciplinary research institute for intelligent system methodologies and technologies. requires top-class minds. We teach our talented young people the expertise, methodology and social skills that the future demands and prepare them for taking up responsible positions in business and science. Every year, around 20 young researchers complete their doctorate at our institute
