Web based knowledge management system connecting the crisis management gaps with solutions

aims to document all the relevant available solutions of management (CM) across Europe, as well as the strategic CM gaps in a way that facilitates the discovery. Key feature of the PoS is the automated matching of the "similar solutions" and "solutions (potentially) addressing this .

Third parties are encouraged to syndicate parts of the PoS content and present them on their own sites under the terms of the Creative Common Attribution 4.0 International license.

Supported Use Cases

Discover solutions matching the real needs of the stakeholders

PoS provides a sophisticated solutions search facility, as well as the automatic matching of solutions to "similar solutions" and to the Crisis Management gaps. Where no satisfactory (operative) solutions exist yet, PoS informs the users on state of the current research and development.

In addition, the PoS also provides organic links between solutions and various other entities. E.g., it links the solutions owned by or endorsed by an to the description. Similar links exist between solutions on the one side and site users, management functions and other relevant taxonomies.

Automated translation of contents

All PoS content is automatically translated to German, with other languages (Dutch, Italian, French, Polish, maybe more) suscheduled for inclusion soon.

For the practitioners and other stakeholders, this means that the knowledge of English is not a pre-requisite for using the PoS to discover innovative solutions and decide how to use them in the national management. For  owners, this means that their solutions will get bigger exposure among the potential end users and other stakeholders.
