The PoS aims to provide a shared place where stakeholders meet around a solution. On the one hand, PoS enables the practitioners (e.g. CM professionals) to easily discover innovative solutions and (with help of the Trial Guidance Tool) design trials where this innovative potential can be tested. On the other hand, the solution providers can present their solutions in a way that makes them easily found. Furthermore, the PoS also provides the "Gaps Explorer", where the strategic CM gaps are advertised and automatically linked with solutions that might be addressing these gaps.
The PoS supports the following functions:
- Concise and well structured description of solutions.
- Sophisticated search functionality.
- Linking of Solutions with Crisis Management functions and other relevant taxonomies for easier discovery.
- Advertising the relevant Solutions to trial owners.
- Linking of Gaps to solutions and Solutions to similar solutions as a complement to search.
